DOWNTOWN / NIGHT TOUR
Visit to historical centre, passing through the Farmer’s Market, old town, Monte’s Cable car Station (optional short walk through the old town), and Western sightseeing point of Funchal.
Exit on the east side old roads of Funchal, going through the oldest part of the city, heading to a unique view point making a stop to discover its beautiful landscape, and get to know a little bit about its history, way of living, typical products, local food and drinks. After all photos taken, return to Funchal centre to visit the west side of Funchal and enter in the harbour to have a different and unique view of the City at night time.
The drop-off can be at Funchal’s Cruise Harbour, or on any other point on the city of Funchal.
OLD ROAD / PHOTO OPPORTUNITY – EAST
Visit to historical centre, passing through the Farmer’s Market, old town, Monte’s Cable car Station (optional short walk through the old town), and Western sightseeing point of Funchal.
Exit on the east side old roads of Funchal, going through the oldest part of the city, heading to a unique view point making a stop to discover its beautiful landscape, and get to know a little bit about its history, way of living, typical products, local food and drinks. After all photos taken, the tour continues into the Natural Reserve of “Garajau”, where the Lord King Statue is. A great view over the Ocean, with Funchal at a distance and on the horizon the Desert Islands; will be waiting for you on this next stop.
Return to Funchal with a final Stop for a drink (Poncha optional).

OLD ROAD / PHOTO OPPORTUNITY – WEST
Visit the western side of Funchal, going through the newest part of the city, heading to the typical and unique fishing village of “Câmara de Lobos” making a stop to discover its beautiful landscape, and get to know a little bit about its history, way of living, typical products (Banana, Madeira Wine,..), local food (black scabbard Fish “Peixe Espada Preto”, skewered meat “Espetada”), drinks (Poncha). After all photos taken, the tour continues to one of the highest cliffs by the sea in Europe called “Cabo Girão” where a Skywalk glass floor (580m / 1.902ft high) waits to impress all visitors with its superb view over: the Ocean, Câmara de Lobos, Funchal and on the horizon the Desert Islands. The Following stage of this tour takes us back in time while rolling on an old coastline road, presenting you with alternate mountain and sea views all the way down to our next stop at Ribeira Brava.
During the tour on one of our several stops you will have the chance to taste local drink (optional).

CURRAL DAS FREIRAS
Join us to discover Eira do Serrado (1.095 meters), the viewpoint to Curral das Freiras “Nun’s Valley”. Curral das Freiras is a valley, in the center of the island, surrounded by some of Madeira´s highest peaks, like Pico do Arieiro.
Here you can taste the traditional chestnut cake and drink the sweet Ginja (cherry liqueur). And also discover some of the most well-hidden secrets of Madeira.

CALHETA
On this tour you have the opportunity to see some banana plantations, the vineyards for Madeira Wine, sugar cane, as well as, natural and artificial beaches. Touring on the old roads with several stops for photos, talking and enjoying the views of Câmara de Lobos, Ribeira Brava, Ponta do Sol, Madalena do Mar and Calheta.

PONTA DE SÃO LOURENÇO
Touring on the old roads with several stops for photos, talking and enjoy the views of Garajau, and see Cristo Rei Statue, Santa Cruz, were is located Madeira Airport (Cristiano Ronaldo Airport), Machico and the fishing village of Caniçal. This village is known for the Tuna Fish fishing and in the old days for the whale hunting industry. In this tour you will have the opportunity to see part of the Madeira’s natural park where the walking trail to Cais dos Sardinhas, situated on the very east point of the Island. And enjoy the Atlantic Ocean, with the fabulous seascapes, that baths Madeiran North and South Coasts.

AROUND THE ISLAND EAST
Touring on the old roads with several stops for photos, talking and enjoying the views up to Monte where the Tobbogan starts, with a stop at Terreiro da Luta. And then to “Poiso” on the way up to “Pico do Arieiro” (1818 m). At verdant “Ribeiro Frio”, where you can visit a trout farm, and also the begining of the Levada Walk to Portela or Balcões. On this stage of your tour you will admire an important part of the “Laurissilva” forest, which has a World Heritage status.
In Santana, where there are the typical “A” shape houses, you have the chance to lunch (optional) and also to see the northern sea cliffs. On the way back, we go through Porto da Cruz, were you can see the cliff “Penha D´Àguia”, continuing to “Caniçal”, and then return to “Funchal”, visiting also what was Madeira’s first capital – “Machico”.
AROUND THE ISLAND WEST
On this tour you will have the opportunity to see the bananas plantation, the vineyards for the Madeira Wine, sugar cane and a lot of natural and different sea views including the natural lava swimming pools at Porto Moniz, as well as, mountains views including the plateau “Paúl da Serra” on top of the west side. Touring on the old roads with several stops for photos, talking and enjoying the views of Câmara de Lobos (optional visit to Cabo Girão), Ribeira Brava will leave you with an idea of how life is on the Island and how it was back on the old days. On the way up to Encumeada, the breathtaking views and the deep valley whose mountains take you up on the clouds, and then down on the winding roads through the Laurissilva forest for Lunch (optional) at São Vicente.
Seixal and Porto Moniz will be our next stops, where you will be seeing, first a natural black sand beach and then the famous lava swimming pools.
High up again we go to Paúl da Serra. This plateau has a landscape that differs from that same morning mountains and peaks views. On this area you can appreciate the southern and northern part of the island just by looking left or right.
Down again from the top, but this time into the southwest of Madeira: Prazeres, Fajã da Ovelha, Paúl do Mar, Jardim do Mar, Calheta and Ponta do Sol; where the Sugar cane and Banana terraces that start at the sea level and climb up the hills will be a common view…

- For cancellation less than 24 hours prior to the reserved time, 50% of the reservation value is charged;
- In order to warrant the safety and wellbeing of the clients (single or groups), they need to comply to the instructions given previously or during the tour by the Driver or Tour Leader, when such;
- Customers give all rights to Green Devil Safari, for audiovisual during the tour for advertisement / promotional;
- For your own safety, Green Devil Safari may change, postpone or cancel the walks with short notice. This will only happen due to adverse weather conditions, landsliding or other reasons beyond or control;
- Should you need to cancel your reservation, you will only be refunded, should your cancellation be made at least until 16h00 of the previous day of the tour/walk.
